    I think it's just that Android devices allow for much more tweaking than any closed platform like BlackBerry OS or iOS. This isn't anything about personal platform preference of the president himself or about a superior security level in Android out of the box. When the NSA is finished polishing and tweaking that Android device for presidential use you won't be able to tell it's an Android device at all. It's just like they're buying random Android OEM hardware and load a WhiteHouse OS onto it.
