    Hi all. I just got the new update last night and... why do I see my phone number on the top banner when I am on the phone? Don't I already know my phone number? How can I turn it off? I am also not so sure I like the top banner previewing my messages. I want that one gone too. Help!

    Well, you can turn off the messages by going to settings > notifications > instant previews > off

    I don't believe you can shut off the display for your phone number. I suspect this has something to do with having more than one phone number associated with your device (see "Priority Calling" in the phone settings) to help ensure you are calling contacts with the correct phone number - ie: So you aren't calling business contacts with your personal phone number.

    Go into the Phone App open Settings and turn this to Off.

    My phone number is on the top banner with the new update-img_20140319_201148.png

    ^That is for blocking your phone number to whomever you are calling.

    ...And I so wish Verizon didn't block this feature
