Yeah in device Settings, Security and Privacy, Application Permissions.
You can filter which Permissions you're looking for at top. Not looking at it right now, it's called Background IIRC.

Sorry Gang - didn't mean to throw a doozy - but it relates to my post on the weekend about an issue with device memory disappearing. I was deleting everything and still something on my phone was eating up memory by the minute. I did a complete Reload of my phone and then I went and did an update on my phone apps. It 'seems' like some of the apps - not sure which - and to be honest not sure if this is the real cause - still trying to do method of elimination - but when a certain app is running headless - it seems to 1) kill my e-mail 2) start eating up memory by the minute 3) my phone gets really hot. So you tell me - does that 'look' like malware? That's what I thought. But I think it really is a bug in one of a couple of headless apps - hence the 'turn off running in background." Thanks for the help. Always count on Crackberry forums.

Take a look at the the device monitor and delete the abnormal app. Check in storage.

Thanks Dave - I think the two apps that were giving me issues were either 1) Webex with background operation and or 2) SlickTasks with background operation. Once I shut these two apps background operation off - all seems to be fine now. Just an FYI. Thanks gang.

The issue will come back if you reboot. Headless apps that have been activated prior restart on startup similar to how apps restart on start for Windows. So I'd suggest deleting the one you think is the issue.

I don't think that that is the case. Recently I had an update for MyTrains Pro which made it run headless. It absolutely killed my battery until I turned off running in the background and location services.

It has definitely not reappeared after rebooting.

Maybe it was Webex. Such a horrendous ordeal I'm leary of turning and background / headless features on right now. Thanks for the feedback Eagle.

I agree with you - as far as my experience with headless apps goes (exactly one ). I always have to restart BeBuzz if I restart my phone.

Huh. That's not the case at all for me. My headless apps return on reboot.
