Get both!? ..just got myself a Q10 after a year with the Z10..very nice phone the Q is, but having played with the Z30 in store.. Yeh the specs are great.. not as big as I imagined either. Definitely considering the Z30 now too, for media. If you can afford or need 2 phones.. get em!

I have had both, currently have the z30. I lived the q10 for its physical keyboard but found the screen small. The z30 has the best screen and I really don't mind the keyboard on it either. Sound quality from the speakers on the z30 are better than the q10.

Of course it is all personal preference. If you are looking for something to use as a heavy communicator then I would suggest the q10. If you want something to use to communicate as well as have some fun with I would suggest the z30.

Best bet is go and try them both out in the store and see which one you like better

If screen size is your priority go for the Z30. If the keyboard is your priority go for the Q10. Both are fantastic devices with great build quality and fantastic battery life, can't go wrong.

Q10 is my vote for you. Unless you are a media guy.

I own both Q10 and 5s. Want the keyboard on the 5s.

I would personally go for the z30, don't get me wrong, the q10 is a great device, but I feel the z30 is just better overall. Sure the keyboard and battery life is great, but the odd screen size and aspect ratio is just weird and messed. This would not be a problem if there were more native BlackBerry apps, but I had to sideload a lot and they don't work too well on the screen on the q10.

I agree, that's why I switched from the Q10 to the Z30.

The Q10 is an amazing device, but it is limited by the physical keyboard and the double typing issue.

Since I'd assume you're already good with the touch screen typing, go with the Z30.

I'm debating switching from Q10 to Z30 due to the double type issue (check out the thread).

I started with the Z10, got frustrated with accidentally touching things.
Bought a Q10 and love it love it.
Bought a Z30 because it's all the rage. It's too large for me, there isn't a Seidio Holster and I can't use it one-handed.
I'm going back to my Q10 because my most usage is text communications, Calendar, Contacts and such.

Completely different devices. I went from a Q10 to a Z10 and tried going back to a Q but ended up back with the Z10 because after using the BB10 OS on a full screen device I see it's really meant for that.
Hopefully the next QWERTY will have a better aspect ratio to work with because the Q10 just felt odd when I tried going back.
That keyboard, though... lol
