Since updating to 10.2.1. releases I had nothing but issues with the Q10. I have wiped the device 3 times already to ensure its a clean install but problems haven't gone away:
- significantly reduced battery life
- phone keeps restarting randomly
- home screen blacks out and only comes on after a couple of power button clicks and swipes up
- the screen becomes very unresponsive at times
- swipes are recorded as clicks.

I used to brag about the phone and how good OS10 was for a new OS. I was astonished how bug free the earlier versions were and that I never had to restart my Q10 like I have to on an Android phone. Now with 10.2.1.xxxx it is just so buggy. A complete let down.

Even this post I had to finish on the desktop as the device was suddenly registering a click somewhere on the screen that exited the CB app.

I have two Q10s. One locked--with no update. The other is running 10.2.1 with no known issues. Little good to you, right? My only suggestion is to give a few resets and work from there. Sometimes a device needs to have time to settle (like the people that program). My first instinct would to reset it a few times, then wait and reload (if rebooting doesn't work). A pain, I recognize, but my first impulse. (Eight years experience, almost.) Sorry to not have a more solid answer. Most problems with CB have been solved by deleting and redownloading.

Mine too! It restarts itself and some of the keys are not working well. I need to press them as hard as I can for it to work ((((

True, battery life very poor, sometimes when I pres the buttons it doubles the letters, when I close some apps the notification led repeatately turns red, blue green for 1 minute, device becomes hot when I run some apps and when it's too hot battery drains quickly. It's funny because z10's battery life it's much better and it's 2100 mAh vs 1800 mAh and smaller screen vb bigger screen.

Doing plenty of swipes and letting the system "settle" is something I have tried numerous times.
I had close to zero issues with the Q10 before 10.2.1 and plenty of them since. This leads to only one conclusion that the quality of the release is poor.

It would be nice to see some official info from BlackBerry about known issues and plans to fix those.

One wipe is enough. If you haven't reloaded the OS I suggest doing that. Is this a leak?

It's not a leak but the official carrier notified OTA update.

I am just downloading 2234 and will load it via Sachesi. Let's see if that will do the trick.

Eventually I downgraded to 10.2.0.1791. So far it's been buttery smooth just like it had been prior to my first update to 10.2.1.
