I love when blackberry integrated instant preview, and i love how you can double tap to go straight to the message. However, i wish there was an option to just view the notification and not the instant preview. I love having the security of locking my phone and knowing no one can go on it when left unattended and no one can creep who I'm texting AND the actual message being sent!!! Weird!! I'm the only one who should have access to that information. I'm ok with the person's name coming up but not the text itself. Is there some way to change that on current OS?

I could be wrong but can't you go into settings - notifications - and turn off the instant preview ? I checked it's there I never tested it

You can turn that off easily from settings

Settings-->Notifications-->Lock Screen Settings (the blue letters)--> Lock Screen Notifications OFF
