Also uninstall and reinstall your CrackBerry app to clear the cache, looks like it raked in a lot
    Clears up some space

Yes, I viewed my own (which sits at at 375mb) and a quick look in the file manager shows that this equals the visible Voice, Document and Picture files.
All the rest of my data has been moved to the SD card, which is what I'd suggest the OP should do before they encounter any issues.

It's amazing how many Crackberry articles you can still browse with your phone in flight mode, so it's not surprising that the cache builds up after a while.

Believe I've figured it out, so go into file manager and in the device folder I looked in to my download folder and had to movies in there which would account for a lot of space eh, so I used the copy option and then opened up the media card folder and then pasted it in the media card download folder. This is correct?

Yes this sounds ok if you've copied them successfully to the SD card.
Now you should delete the originals from the device in order to free up space.
[I](There was either 'Move' or 'Copy' to have used)[\I]
Moving them would have left no originals, but it sounds like you're onto your storage issue once you remove/delete the originals and you've freed up the space.
