1 week old and I just broke my Z30 screen and I have no idea how it happened. I have a screen protector and have not dropped it.
There is a small hairline cracked on the top left of the screen.
Last night I went to bed and all was good. Woke up this morning and phone screen was blank.
Went to Bell store and sales agent suggested that it was because I had it in my pocket with some coins and the pressure caused the break. Sounds possible, however, that should not happened in my opinion.
There is no damage to the top glass just the screen under the glass. I have the extended warranty but still have to pay 200$ for replacement .
Needless to say I'm a little pissed that there was no traumatic event to the phone and that coins in my pocket could cause this.
Anyone have similar incidents? Suggestions?

I had a somewhat similar experience. I dropped and shattered my Z30. Verizon sold me a new one for the 2 year contract price..$199..I will try to get screen fixed and keep it as a spare.

Called back to Bell to express my displeasure. Advised I attend store and send for free repair back to BlackBerry.
Feeling better about this.
