    I'm sure most of you have experienced the SMS bug, when you've saved a massive history of texts, and it just slows down the phone. This mostly occurs when you get 2-3 incoming texts at the same time, the text application just freezes and you either have to wait 10 mins for it to load, or reset the hub by swiping from the top right corner? This also happens when you're about to send a text, and a new text comes in and it freezes again.

    I've found a quick solution that I'd like to share. When this happens, go back to the hub, click the settings button (3 vertical dots) on the bottom right, then "text messages", then trigger the "dark background" from off to on, (or on to off). This magically fixes the SMS app and all the messages will load right away! No more waiting for the hub to restart!

    Do you guys know if this happens on devices other than the Q10? I've tried posting on the general BlackBerry 10 OS forum but no one seemed to confirm that they had this issue. I really want to know if it's the Q10 or the software...

    I experienced the same issue both on the Z10 and on the Z30, but with 10.2.1 it seems better.
