Go to www.blackberry.com select Devices from the menu and the the P'9982 and where to buy. It will show you which outlets sell the Device.

Almost exactly the same device as the Z10. The price is more expensive because of the outside case.

It's not like "oh the 9982 is just a Z10 in a nice case with 64GB"...the PD phones have a very special high quality feeling to them that standard BBs simply can't deliver (anymore). This is what you pay the premium for and it's totally worth it.

I personally still consider the 9981 (PD looks + keyboard) the best BlackBerry ever made. No Z30 or Q10 to cope with that if it wasn't for the software.

Have you tried ordering it via the Porsche Design website?

The P'9982 really doesn't have that premium feel that the P'9981 does? I am not sure if it is the lack of weight or the lack of metal on the frame. The P'9981 feels much nicer and feels like a premium product.

For me the lack of a keyboard is what kills the 9982. Yes it feels much lighter but I have the feeling that the metal frame and housing (with the small PD-logos implemented, very nice!) actually stack together better than the 9981.
Apart from the feeling there seem to be no bigger mishaps on PDs side with this one. I remember lots of bricked 9981s (mine also likes to from time to time) or phones where trackpads and keys stopped working coupled with horrendous customer support.
As for the 9982 there are only reports of the colored battery covers which seem to catch the black stuff from the inside of the carrying pouch and those are being replaced for free.

Yes a couple of points are true from what you said. I guess the only reason it doesn't feel premium to me is because 90% of the phone is screen only. 99% of the phones on the market look just like it. The only thing that differentiates it is the metal PD logo on top. The bottom part is plastic and it was plastic in the P9981 as well.

Still I like the idea behind it, I just wish they did something extra with it or a edgier design.

When I took mine out of the box for the first time I was so let down; barely anything exciting about it.

It is just a z10 main board with a pd shell that's it.
U can even simply assemble a p9982 if u have the housing and a z10 main board, and u know what, there's already someone selling this online cost 450$ only.
But the p9981 can't be done that easily, the keyboard cables are not the same with 9900 and the position of holes on the main board for screws aren't either.
