OK I searched but found nothing.
I have a 2012 RAM pickup with uconnect entertainment system and a Z30. This gives me voice text messages in my truck.
Meaning the truck entertainment system says: "You have a text message from Joe...would you like me to read it to you?"
This is going to be available now here on new models:
Uconnect® Access | The next generation of connectivity has arrived
Why I have it on my 2012 I don't know...maybe I should check the manual?...nah.

Maybe this is why Ford wants QNX?? My uconnect system never screws up and the included Garmin Maps is awesome.

Unfortunately it is not available to those with iphones:
Please Note: To use Voice Texting, you will need a Uconnect Access subscription and a smartphone with a Bluetooth� Message Access Profile (MAP). Some smartphones, including iPhone� mobile devices, do not currently support Bluetooth MAP.
Is it just me your would you trade voice text messaging for every available iphone app..if you had an iphone. ???

Maybe I am getting too old but I can't see the use of having that many apps, there is not enuff time in the day to use them all especially with other things to do like eating sleeping etc. BlackBerry world has way more than I will ever use.

I have BlackBerry voice control as a quick access key on my BMW dash and use it all the time to read and reply to texts, email and even answer the occasional math question. Love it.

I don't know who wrote the manual for that but the iPhone has had Bluetooth MAP since the iPhone 4. Voice text messaging has been around for several years on iOS and Android and I use it quite often in my SUV.
