After latest update all my texts were gone
And I can see the new text when it comes but only in hub
When I check sms app or text messages in hub I cant see them
It says no entries

What happned?

Updates can do that. They sometimes wipe things. I would say they are gone unless you backed them up...

I'd be patient. Some had this problem with the last rollout but texts came back over time.
A reboot helped sometimes.

Weird thing is that all my texts are there all the threads but in hub not in text app

I always found that after an update my text messages come back as soon as I write to someone or they write to me.

I'm having the same issue. Until I did a few reboots yesterday the text message tab was not even showing in the hub. It's back now but when someone texts me it shows in the overall hub but not under the text tab. Several reboots have not helped. While not critical as I can still text it's more of an annoyance.

Yes that option is there. I changed options a few times to see if I could get things working. No go. And also can confirm no notification for texts either.

What I don't understand about these mysterious text an email disappearances on BB10 is where are the messages stored? On the device or in a cloud? How do they just come back after being gone as some have reported?

I have no notification for text messages (audible), and they only appear in the hub - the text message app is empty - I'm on Rogers, z10, just rec'd most recently ota update on Friday - rogers told me to wipe the phone and re-install

Weird. The hub is fine, the text 'app' is fine, I can get notifications with a text using the built in notifications, but no led and no alert at all using hub++......

You can restore text messages by using BlackBerry Link and restore 'Settings' from a backup.

This has worked for me, but I was running the same OS as when the backup was taken.

And after reading your comment I checked my text are gone too
And when new sms comes I cant see them as they dissepear as soon as they come

The only way to tell that u got text is when you get led notification and there is nothing on hub which means new text
And when you search the senders name on the text all his/her new text shows up unread
Anyway morning im going to security wipe and see if its going to work

Backup, backup, backup. Keep preaching that mantra, regardless of device or OS. PC / Mac / tablets / phones.

Or get a TXT import / export app. Don't solely rely on Link. Use other apps, if any data type or message format is is important to you.
