Since Barclays have just released their Banking App for WP8, I thought I would start a petition, so they could see how many blackberry users would use it!

I work for this bank and am quite close to the digital team. I can categorically say that unless BlackBerry sell A LOT more handsets, a BB10 app will never appear.

I am however lobbying them to make the android version available on BlackBerry World though so all is not lost yet.

I've sent Barclays a few emails about this. I can't believe they don't make an app for the most secure mobile phone of all time....! I sometimes fantasise about walking in to a branch and closing my account down and cashing out my entire savings. And when they ask why I tell them because they won't make an app for Blackberry...

The Barclays android .apk doesn't work. It crashes during the sign up process. Is just a shame they don't take a little time to convert it for BB10, it's not as if they would have to start from scratch.

This the reply I got from Barclays online when I asked the question earlier this year. Sadly most uk banks have a BB10 app now, but for some reason Barclays refuses.

Bugger them. I'm closing my account very shortly and I will definitely give lack of bb10 app as a reason. Not that it will change anything for you guys but I will make sure they heard me...

I would be very interested to know which banks [I]do[I] make an app native to BB10, and how good they are....

In terms of market share, WP is 5-8%. BlackBerry these days (unfortunately for us) is <0.9%. Hence no app.
