Why not go to ebay and buy a rogers sim card for 10 bucks. Pop it in and connect to link. Get update. Shut down pop att sim card in and your done , just like an OTA update. Back up first just in case.

Only if you're silly enough to tell them that's what you did. They have no way of knowing.

They wont want to phone support you with a non official version from your carrier. If you needed help you would have to load in your backup but other than that. NOOO.

I get tired with AT&T USA so I went ahead an sideload the 10.2.1; it works perfect. I did not lose any files. I did the full back up first when done i did the full restore. Make sure your Link software is up to date! Now install Andriod apps piece of cake. I'm glad I did...

I got tired of waiting, used Sachesi and despite some bumps along the way, I have 10.2.1 running beautifully on my phone! When AT&T starts pushing out their version, I will just use Sachesi to get it. Until then, I am loving the new features and highly recommend that however you can, get 10.2.1!

Updated my Q10 with Sachesi using Rogers carrier code in Canada: 302 720. Reason I did Sachesi is because Autoloader version has glitches, though my Z10 had no problems with its Autoloader version.

Thats the first time I have heard that an autoloader has glitches. Anyway, grabbing a sim from another carrier is the easy thing to do. Like ROGERS. for att people.

I also got tired of AT&T and their canned speech about still testing. So I too used Sachesi and did the update using the Rogers codes. First try it locked up half way and did not install. So I just tried it the second time and it worked fine. I had tried it using windows 8.1 and it did not recognize the usb connection and then I used a window 7 machine and it worked fine. I changed the setting on the phone from auto connect to connect with windows and it recognized the phone when I used Sachesi to install the SNAP to be able to download android apps. I wish I had listen to people here on CB back weeks ago instead of waiting and believeing AT&T actually was going to do something

Sachesi let's u pick to download which ever carrier update you want, you will be wasting time and money buying a Rogers sim. With sachesi you will get the same official update from Rogers. After that you can use sachesi to download Snap android app world for blackberry too

You can't put your old operating system back on from a BlackBerry Link backup. It will restore your apps and some data BUT NOT YOUR CONTACTS or your operating system. And I have been unable to find a way to download the AT&T preloaded version in an attempt to recover a couple dozen contact edits that had been made since the most recent sync with MS Outlook. That seems to be the only reliable way to backup contacts is to sync with Outlook.

Use ATT contact sync or Google account...I never had problems with missing contacts using one of the two

Couldn't be bothered dealing with ATT customer service anymore. Spent two hours Friday night to backup and load 10.2.1 via Sachesi. Frankly dealing with bb link was a bigger problem than Sachesi. Working great and no apparent conflicts or complications.
