Hi all

I got my Z10 last week and i must say.. what a device! But since the day that i have the Z10 the battery was always a little problem (i can get a full day of it but i want to USE my phone)

So i was watching at some revies on Youtube on the Z30 and my questions are:
Is there anyone that has switched his Z10 for a Z30?

How is the IPS LCD screen compared to the Amoled screen?

Is the extra 1080 Mah worth it?

Some will say yes but the price difference is like 300 euro's.... (with 300 euro's i can buy 2 BB Z10's)
Is the price difference worth it?

I also bought a black back cover (extra grip because the white one is all plastic) and i ordered a 2300Mah battery from Ebay for my Z10, but it takes a month to get it shipped from China to the Netherlands

Well, september is 6 months away, if I were you I would buy the Z30 so I don't miss out on the good stuff while waiting for the "real deal" (BlackBerry octa core)

Got my Z30 a few weeks ago and I really don't regret it. Now that I know that a new device is coming up I can wait patiently while saving for it lol

I would get the Z30 and keep it until 2015. I just upgraded from the Z10 a week ago and I actually find the Z30 screen easier on my eyes, especially in low light. It's a faster phone and the call quality I find quite a bit better. The size difference is noticeable but depending on your preferences that can be a good or bad thing.

I just switched from a Z10 to a Z30 and do not regret it at all. This is my first day of use (and I can't keep my hands off of it). I unplugged it from the charger this morning at 8:00 am and it's now 3:10. The battery is still at 67% left after 7 hours of fiddling with it. The Device Monitor says I have 18 hours of time left, which is awfully optimistic given my inability to stop touching it, however my Z10 would have been near dead by now given my use today. I'm thinking that this will improve over the next few days as the Z10 did when it was new.

HOWEVER, I would not have upgraded if I had to pay full price for the phone, I would have kept my Z10 until the newer model come out. I changed because of Verizon's awesome deal to upgrade ($99.95 for the phone with a $100 gift card to trade in an old, workable smartphone which will be my ancient Storm 2 which still 'works').

I would spring for the official battery replacement dongle sold by BlackBerry - it's a great product and it's easy enough to change out the battery mid-day and charge everything up overnight with one charger. This way battery life is less an issue.

I'd wait. Z10 is a good phone. The next Z should be quite a bit better than both

Actually what Rickell says makes sense too. I had the accessory that he speaks of and the combo of that and the Z10 was great. Would definitely be a cheaper option and a good idea IF BlackBerry has a new phone this year to replace the Z's.

In the same boat and I'm going to wait until fall to see what they release. By that time if you still want to go z30 it will be even cheaper.

There is always a new device. I decided to change phones every two years, same goes for laptops.

You have to jump in at some point and never look back or make a lot of money and change hardware all the time

I don't think they plan on releasing another premium full touch device this year
