I've used both Nav4all and Garmin Mobile.

You get what you pay for: Garmin Mobile blows nav4all out of the water.

You can get Garmin Mobile for $79 from Handango. Use coupon "LUCKY20" to reduce the price from $99 down to $79

Garmin Mobile has a free trial period too.

Telenav/ATT Navigator is amazing! It is 8.99/month. The maps and stuff are constantly updated and the turn by turn directions are spot on. It has helped me from getting lost numerous times!

Do you mean audible directions, like "Turn left at next stoplight"? Or just a text list of directions like:

    Turn L onto I-15 South (42 miles)
    Take Exit 56
Turn R and go East (2.1 miles)

Because Google will do the latter, its free, and it has been working great for me so far.

If you want the audio stuff, well, I cannot recommend anything there, but check out Google stuff, price is right.

How does Garmin Mobile compare to Wayfinder Navigator? I've had Wayfinder before and it was ok, but no earthshattering.

I work for AT&T in a store front so I of course sell ATT Nav... My bosses and reps have given us spread sheets of different nav's and in every column ATT Nav wins on paper. I personal have used garmin and ATT Nav and Google Maps and BB maps and all I can say is 10$ is nothing for using ATT Nav.

    +2 ATT Nav (aka TelNav)

Is there a monthly fee associated with Garmin Mobile, in addition to the $79?

What he's trying to say is that AT&T Nav gives you real-time traffic updates so you can avoid traffic on your route.

If you've never used the GPS before, you have to go to the menu and enable it first.

Well, maybe carrier dependent. I had never turned it on when I D/L'd google maps. Booted it and it showed me my location immediately with no further action on my part.
