I think it'll sell if it's cheap. And by cheap, I mean as cheap or cheaper than the budget Lumia.

Otherwise, BlackBerry won't sell many of these at all.

There's no doubt it could fail, but the reasoning he/she used was based on the fact that the other premium devices didn't sell so this one is an automatic fail as well. This is a sub 200 dollar phone being sold in an area where BlackBerry is still relevant so it's a completely different strategy. It still might fail, but it's a bit premature to say it will fail because others did as well.
