Download BlackBerry link to your PC
    Backup your phone
Download the latest leak for your phone and they are usually Autoloader
And just click on autoloader and follow the instruction

Easy to do. Back up the phone. Check to see Link made a backup file before proceeding. Download the proper autoloader for your device (search the forums for the latest). Open the download on a PC. Close Link. Connect the phone and run the autoloader. Restore application data and other info as separate operations. Restore your accounts. Android apps are lost this way.

There are other ways in the forums but this has been my fave a long time. Good luck.

    Latest OS

Looks like you don't have BlackBerry link... If you do, perform a full backup of your BlackBerry q10 device.

If you downloaded full os autoloader then new radio will be inside I dont think you need the separate radio

The autloader you downloaded should more then 900 mb

Use Sachesi for the official 10.2.1 release on the air update. I recommend to backup, but it's the easiest way how to handle updates.

Hi, i'm new to updating myself and have spent spme time today on CB trying to figure out the following:
    - autoloaders are said to be 'destructive' updates. What exactly is destructive (lost) when you do the restore from your last backup?

-sachesi is said to be 'non-destructive', it fakes a carrier OTA updates

So what exactly is the difference? And what should be preferred?

    Thanks a lot!

With the autoloader you have to restore from a backup to get your data back. Sachesi just updates on top of the OS. You save all of your data and don't need to restore from a backup.

Thanks! So as I see it, the Sachesi way is likely somewhat shorter. And as I read the CB tutorial on it, picking any carrier is fine as long the right codes are used. I'm currently running 10.2.0.424 btw

Correct. Autoloader is my choice but lots of people find Sachesi easier. Takes much more time to do the autoloader. Sachesi will only load an official OS.

I had to go the sachesi route. Autoloader didn't work for me. Sachesi was very easy and I'm a beginner to installing leaks on Bb10
