So, before I got the last update my z10 goy great battery life. Since updating to 10.1.2 the battery life SUCKS. I have the same settings and nothing has changed. I've looked through the forums and noticed I'm not the only one. Also tried their tricks to save life and no luck, so anybody have any luck at all?

How long has the phone been on since the update?
They say you should give a day to "settle".

Definitely give it more than 24 hours. I've read that the phone needs to index a bunch of files etc.

Mine has been updated for over a week and I've noticed quicker drain as well. It seems like most people have the issue from what I've seen. Hopefully it'll be addressed soon. I had better life for sure before update.

Mine dropping from 100% at 7.00am to 5% at 7.00pm ....don't know if that is suppose to be but definitely not enough... I really appreciate should it can extend to at least 3-4 hours.

PIM -whatsapp & facebook +camera 5-6 shots with HDR, instagram, checking emails, a couple of cb forums ...guess thats it from 7am-7pm....

I'm think the same. I won't know until tomorrow. When I have a fully charged phone. But I honestly think this build is worse on battery life. Seems like my Z30 drains hella quickly even while idling.

Check your media sharing options, and Dropbox. I had ok battery life for a couple weeks after the update, made sure Dropbox was signed out and turned off media sharing (unless I'm actually using the features) and my battery life has shot up. It's great now! 100% at 7am to 75% at 11pm after an extremely busy Friday (tons of emails and attachments going through, lots of screen on time).

yes I am having the same issue with my Q5. gave the OS a week to settle, even reloaded the OS after reading in the forums but the battery is really disappointing given the fact I am on edge, screen brightness is at 25% and i hardly play any games on the phone. maybe for 10-15 mins a day . my curve 9220 gave better battery life . I am really hoping an update comes out soon to fix this issue.

Here's what I think. The Z10's battery is probably the most dreadful thing I've seen. Probably the worst on the market. Legit WTF is this nasty battery drain...
