Hi maybe someone can help, i cannot transfer files from pc to bb10, connected through usb.
I can transfer from bb10 to pc no issues there.
Also when plugging into pc it does not ask me to enter password, turned off passwords still no luck
Mass storage mode is off.

Make sure BlackBerry Link is installed, as mentioned. You can try a different USB port or cable. If it is already installed does Link see your device? Did it work with this computer before the update? If yes uninstall Link, making sure to check the box that says remove all user settings, or something along those lines. Also delete the computer from the paired list on your phone under Settings->Blackberry Link. Then reinstall and try it.

Tried different usb ports no luck, did a security wipe, no luck.
Link sees my device, i just cant copy files to either the sd or the flash rom.
Before loading 2141 it would always prompt for password on connecting with pc, now no prompt, no password needed to access the files.
Going to try uninstalling link and re installing, also will delete all pairs, right now phone has been wiped so no old setting are in effect.
As far as i know it worked before, haven't transferred files to it in a while.

wish me luck thanks for your advice i'll let you know, going to be a long night i think.

Try turning off wifi on device prior to plugging in. Only way it has ever worked for meat home

Ya in the taskbar i have blackberry device manager, phone connects to pc no problem, just stopped asking for password and cannot load files onto BB, i can take file from BB to PC no issues

Clean out Link, restart your computer, install the latest by downloading it from the BlackBerry website and make sure your link is set to open with windows upon opening, restart your computer and phone and wait till everything loads...no rush.
Remove your existing wireless connection for your home from your BlackBerry device and add it again (not manually, just the regular detection and adding).
Also, if you have a windows 8 PC on a wireless connection to your home network, that could be your problem...windows 8 is notorious with wireless connections even with Bluetooth.

I just bought a new hard drive, going to do a clean install of windows 7 as soon as it arrives, hoping that will solve the problem, but for some reason I think it's a problem with the phone itself, might reload the OS again on the phone too, or downgrade to 1925, I'll let you guys know how it goes as soon as it's all done hopefully I'll get to it before the weekend if I have the time.

I'm having a similar problem with my SD card. It worked fine on 1925, but when I updated to 2141, I can only copy from device to pc, when I try to copy anything to my device or to the SD card it tells me there is not enough space and just loops trying to copy over and over on all three of my PCs. I've tried wiping the device, reinstalled Link, and reformatted the SD card. However when I put my SD card into the pc directly it copies without problems.

I also have the STL100-3

Haven't tried that yet, but I'm assuming it will work, just a pain to do that every time I want to add music or something to remove sd, put in adapter, transfer and then put back in the phone, just saw other people are having same issues going to see if any of them figured out a fix.

Using a usb I have been using for all my phones, not sure if it came with this one, but it was working before, and it works fine with my other BlackBerry z10 also stl100-3 only difference between the two phones is ones on 1925, and this one's on 2041

Updated to OS 10.2.1.2228 and finally my issues are all gone. Now when I connect the device the pc prompts me for my password and am able to load files on.

Thanks for the efforts, i guess it was just a bug in the OS.
