sorry if this has been covered already, but is it possible to read find and read texts that are older than two months old that are automatically removed from my phone? I do have some old bbb backup files on BB link from that time period, but don't want to do a back up on my phone, just want to open file to read the texts.

Hmm I Just checked and I have texts from September so I didn't even k of that they get deleted.

I have texts from ppl longer than that, but I had one ongoing text conversation that i would like to read. They ended 2 months ago (there were hundreds of texts in this conversation). So I have the last two months of text conversation, but want to read earlier than that. It is possible I may have deleted some earlier texts, as I remember that it was very laggy at one point when we tried texting

It sounds like you have lost them (it should hold all of the messages), you could first do a backup and then restore to a period two months ago to regain the texts. Then export the SMS, restore again to the newer backup and away you pop.

I recently had to use restore to recover a very long text conversation which was corrupted thanks to the 10.2.0.x bug (my gf, I was gutted :'(..) thankfully recovering 'Settings' in Link worked.
