Hello everyone, I have a Z10 STL100-1 with software release 10.2.1.537. The phone resets itself several times per day. Is there maybe a fix for this ?

    Many Thanks

See the thread I started...might be a battery issue. Are the restarts new to 10.2.1?

I had the same problem. Do you get an error message when it reboots? My settings were wrong. Contacted service provider. Quick fix all ok now

Hi Robert, I don't get any messages. What settings did you change. I am writing from South Africa and I am on Vodacom.

    Hi,

Have you tried rebooting your phone by holding the up and down sound buttons, this should then do some kind of system check (I think), I have a Z30 and was having some problems and did this (it should work on all BB10 devices) and it seems to have resolved it.

Might the battery be loose? Some folks have tucked a bit of paper under the battery to keep it from moving.

The OTA update has introduced a variety of strange problems for some.

The best solution would be a clean install of the 10.2.1.1925 OS using the autoloader. Followed by a security wipe.

It may be drastic, but it almost always works, no matter what the issue.

When I first got my Z10 a few months ago it was doing the same thing. Thought it was defective but before I returned it I wondered if perhaps something was loose. Opened the back and it looked like the SIM Card wasn't quite seated. Also played with media card and battery to ensure they were in solid. That fixed it.

Putting in a small plastic strip under the battery fixed it for me.

The OP says it only started after updating OTA to 10.2.1.1925. That's why I was suggesting the problem is software based, and to use an autoloader for a clean install.
