The only solution is to remove the permissions of the apps (apks) before installation. Use 'Apk Permission Remover' from Play Stores. You can even remove the components of apks with the pro version.

Hey! I finally have a new Z10 and I will upload apk permission remover to bb10store a little later.

The app works great, although some apps will crash or stop functioning without certain permissions. This is obvious though, a file manager for instance cannot be expected to work if it does not have permission to access your files. The app can also remove components from an apk.

It's quite simple enough to use, you basically mark the permissions or components you want to remove from the apk and then click the first button (remove + install) and then the installer starts as normal after modifying your apk for you.

No, security software has nothing to do with the permissions, it just checks for malicious software or malicious modifications to the apk. This app is the only way to change permissions at the moment, but obviously some apps need certain permissions to access certain parts of your device, if you restrict those permissions, the app will crash or just not work.

As it turns out there's something I did before that you have to do to make it work. First of all you need to access the android app "Settings". To do this easily, download any android launcher, open it up and click on settings, then under.. I think it was developer options? Tick allow apps from outside sources, this will allow you to install the modified apks.

Thank you for this. I was able to remove that C2DM popup that comes up when I start pinterest. Great tip! Going to be a process now when updates come, but it's worth it

I don't know about other stores, but when downloading or updating from aptiode it automatically gives me an option to start apk permission remover or to just install the app, so the updating process shouldn't be too much more effort than before

Use ghost commander. Feel free to Google search android app launcher. Way more information out there then to type here. I'll try though, it's an app that shows you the smaller apps and settings with the android runtime
