    It looks like this standard feature from the old BBOS is gone, not working, defunct, expired, this parrot is dead.

    And I'm not happy about it either.

    BlackBerry: fix this soon please.

    ... and no, I don't want to install an app to get this basic functionality back.

    I'm still having it. No problem with mine even after the update last week. Maybe there is something wrong somewhere, ho visit a BlackBerry expert store & see if they can help you out.
