10.1!? Wow, there have been 2 new OS since then. This issue was common with 10.1 but has been fixed with the new updates. Who is your provider that you only have 10.1? I would install a leak or else sounds like you could be waiting a while.

Not sure why your on 10.1 still. Smaller Country? For the most part many had 10.2 last fall and now globally by the end of February will have 10.2.1. Get a newer OS and your problem will be gone.

Moved to the BB 10 forum for better exposure.

FYI, OP. I had the same issue with my Z10. A clean re-install without restoring "settings" seems to have done trick.

Is the rebooting happening when she puts the phone down with force?

My Q10 will reboot if it's 'nudged' hard enough. I read somewhere that the battery dislodges just a bit to cause the reboot. Some members have been actually folded up a post it note and placed it between the battery door and the battery.

    Just a theory

I powered off my z10. Then, downloaded and ran the 10.2.1.1803 leak via autoloader. Without restoring anything, I then ran the OTA update that was available from my carrier. I left it for a day without using it, to confirm all was OK. (and used my Z30) Then I restored app data only. All's been good since then.

if your carrier hasn't released the latest 10.2.1.1925, you could run this instead of the 1803.

The only problem I see for you is whether or not you have a recent enough backup from which to restore after the process. Or, perhaps everything is in the cloud and it doesn't matter?

This was one of my issues. I had to jam a piece of paper along the top edge of the battery when I pushed it in to stop the rebooting. Very annoying. It's also one of my main reason I prefer my Z10 over my Q10.

Do the volume key(s) stuck?? One can reboot holding both, so if a bit of dust made the stuck after a screen-shot they might hardreboot the phone in an endless loop?? Just an idea.
