Okay even though I have a Z30 and Z10 I was not going to be happy until I owned the Q10. Well it arrived yesterday and today was my 1st full day of use. For starters it feels great using a physical keyboard again. Second this phone has made it through the day and still has a 75% charge. I had a 9930 prior any BB10 devices and came close to getting another 9930 but very happy with the Q10 now trying to get use to it. I plan on selling the Z10 but not the Z30 it is still my Gem, I just didn't need two touchscreen devices. Honestly I never truly liked the feel talking with the screen pressed against my face, thank you for Blue tooth. When I opened the Q10 box and took it out and set besides the other two I was like wow it looked like a shrimp :-). I seen the Q10 when released but never seen it beside a Z10 and the Z30 towers over it. Bottom line it's going to be my work horse and very glad with my purchase.

I have had the Q10 for a couple weeks now and honestly am very dissatisfied!! I had an BB Bold for years for business (and use an I phone for personal). I can't believe all the basic features they did not include on the Q10.like "Delete Prior"!! I like to keep my handheld clean and leave my messages on my server to file later.but now the Delete Prior apparently removes from both, so you have to manually delete each mail on the BB and I get hundreds a day!! Who has time for that? Even the option to delete more at a time doesn't always work, and I'm still not sure if that will also delete from the server!
Andwhy can't I set up my device to "bcc" myself anymore??? I like to have records on my desktop that I replied back or sent mails outbut now I need to remember to add my name to the send ???
    Plusthey screen is smaller..
    I could go on.what am I missing????
    Why are you so impressed?

Jusk asking here (I am not sure if I should create thread): you've written: "you'll be prompted"... Please does it ask before deleting?? And please are you asked if you want them deleted from phone only/both phone and server??

I read a lot complaining from forum members about losing their mails from the server so that I never deleted from Phone... It never bothered me until now... I am not sure if it takes Memory leaving the mails on phone (how to look for?)... I just mark prior as read, am living fine with it.

I agree with you, a hundred percent.

I think a lot of people automatically disregard the Q10 because it's "not exactly like BB9xxx. BlackBerry 10 was supposed to be an innovative OS and therefore the hardware and other aspects of the legacy OS phones will inevitably be omitted from the new devices.

There is thread after thread on how to do specific things on a Q10. I had to go through the learning curve too, and I still don't know it all - I'm not trying to say that I know everything. But some people seem to just hate the Q10 or BlackBerry in general without even giving it a run-through or the benefit of the doubt.

You (not the dude I quoted, just "you" in general ) are entitled to your own opinions. By all means, dislike the Q10. But please consider the fact that we all have different tastes and just because you are dissatisfied, doesn't mean others should be questioned as to why they like it as if they're from a different planet.

(I've been doing a lot of Star Wars stuff. Can you tell? )

Kim, just give yourself a bit more time and a chance to discover how amazing the Q10 is. I have both the Q10 and the Z10 and I love 'em (& yes I came from the 9900 too)

I believe the delete from HUB or HUB and online feature is a 10.2.1 update feature. I have the option on Z10 running a leak but not the Z30 or Q10. I will wait for the update to come my way. I usually log into my PC and delete all unwanted emails then phones update when they sync.

Sorry to hear you are disappointed with your Q10 but I have been studying my device and what I did learn. When the bottom bar does not appear for you to choose delete multiple emails you can make it appear by swiping down at the bottom of the screen and the bar will appear. Give it some time.
