    Hi! Is this a glitch or something? BBM in the hub isn't responsive. It just froze. I attempted to restore from backup using BlackBerry Link but it said that it couldn't connect to my phone. I tried to restore but an error occurred..

    What's happening to my phone, do you guys have any idea?

    After I downloaded the new OS BBM didn't work so I went to BlackBerry World and there I found that is a update for BBM. I updated the app and everything works great. Did you check for the update?
    Also go to settings > notifications > BBM and check if the notifications are set the way you want.

    Yeah I did, no update yet for mine.

    Should I do a wipe and just reload everything? The thing is though, my phone isn't recognized by BlackBerry Link. I might brick it.. argh.

    I'm sorry, I don't know what else to recommend I think is to harsh to wipe and do all over again but if you don't get the update for BBM probably is the only solution. When you open BlackBerry World make sure you also go to My world and check not just for updates but also at the available apps.

    Yes I did that too. Checked settings, updates, and I even wanted to just delete and reinstall it.. I don't think you can though. It's frustrating. Thanks anyway

    You're welcome! Sorry I wasn't able to be more helpful. The only thing I'm sure is after the update me and other two friends of mine with BlackBerry we had to update BBM to make it work and we had the update available. Maybe try to refresh BlackBerry World. Swipe down and check for refresh. Maybe the update will show. This is my last idea, hope will help.

    I tried it after reading your reply, no such luck. Maybe I'll just wait for the update.. if I'm not mistaken though, I updated through BlackBerry Beta Zone. Boo.

    I'm using beta zone also but this last BBM update was from BlackBerry World.

    Also you know how a reboot solves a lot of problems for us. Just take the battery out for couple of minutes and then check the app and if is still not working look back for update.

    One more idea. Just try to contact one of the smart guys here on Crackberry who maybe are able to provide you just with the BBM file with a autoloader. Then you will be able to reinstall the BBM.

    I had an issue with BBM after upgrade, I'm guessing due to being on the BBM Channels beta at one point. Was eventually able to resolve by signing into AppWorld on the computer, looking up BBM and asking it to download. It pushed the correct version of BBM OTA to my phone (linked thru BBID) and now BBM is working normally.

    Crap. It still doesn't work. I guess I'm stuck with this almost useless app. No sound, vibration, or even the red asterisk. How frustrating. But thank you for your suggestions
