I upgraded from 10.2.0.429 (?) to 10.2.1 (all official Rogers OS'es on Z10 in Toronto).

With the last update I was able to "hard close" apps by finding them in the "app manager". I seem to have lost the ability to do this.

Sorry for being so cryptic, but if anyone can figure out what I am talking about: has the ability to do this been taken away, or do I just not know where to look? :/

Go to settings, app manager, device monitor. Click on the Storage tab up top, and it will list all your apps..select the one you want and you will get the option to delete or close.

Actually you want the "Memory" tab, not "Storage". The Memory tab shows you the apps that are currently open (including headless ones). However, it doesn't always show all Android apps/services. For that you'll want to grab an app called "Task Manager" from BBW.

    Thanks for the quick replies!

Previously you had to press and hold, but now I see they changed it to just press. Got me confused lol. "memory" is the tab I was looking for.
