I did a search and did not really find anything that was of any use, sorry to repost.

Missing my freetether from my pre3, so I am wondering if there is an app, native or side load that will tether without the stupid need of authorization from my carrier who should have nothing to do with it.

Thanks I will have to take a look at that thread. Having a hotspot where and when ever you want is such a useful feature.

You don't need an app, it's built in. Unless you have AT&T I believe.

Bluetooth or USB works. Just go to Network connections setting and it should be there.
