Well, I was just about to decide on the keeping the Z30 until I noticed the photos are always slightly out of focus.
Grrrr. The Z10 takes much crisper shots. The Z30 has basically been in the house and tinkered with at night, comparing to the Z10. My images seem to reflect what this reviewer saw:

No my Z30 takes nice pics, take a little longer to focus I find but it takes a nice pic

I just picked up a Z30. The pix are just as good as my Z10. (Not noticing focus lag either.)

I have found that experimentation is necessary for all the BB10 phones when it come to taking pics. Not ideal, but when you figure out what works best with each phone in different situation you always get great pictures. We have a Q10, a Z10 and a Z30. Each takes great pice, but we have figure what settings generally work best for our phones.

Yeah mine are blurry, useless unless you're in really good light.

I experience blurry pictures also while close up.
I have to pull away and back a few times before it will focus. Nobody else?

The camera in the z30 is by far worse than the z10, I don't know why. I have both and I still can't get over it.

I have both as well and I notice the difference as well, the z30 takes longer to focus and the z10 just seems to be quicker at taking the picture.

Are the blurry pictures with a case? I have found some cases cause this problem.

I was trying to take some close up pictures of my router serial number which are in very small font. It was really frustrating that z30 would not focus and pics were blurry. Than I took my wife Nexus 5 and tried but same result. Than I took out my Canon powershot camera thinking that it would do better job. But the same thing, the auto focus would still take blurry picture. Had I not done this comparison, I would have definitely blamed Z30 for not being able to autofocus small font and taking blurry picutre. I am generally happy with the pictures taken with Z30.

Upgrade to the latest official operating system. I'm on the latest att downloaded via sachesi and the camera works great.

I've just recently noticed this, going thru IG I noticed pics taken with my z10 in the same environment were a lot sharper, wonder if a different camera bar could make a diff?

Ya this is what I experienced testing on a napkin. First pic worked perfectly first try. I though wow. Tried it again and bang out of focus. Took 4 times back and forth before it focuses again. Both pictures are from about 6-8 inches away.

I'm thinking the Z30 pictures aren't as crisp, has anyone found a way to improve them?
