Had unlocked my Z10 on bell
Sent phone to BlackBerry for repairs
Came back, same ime # but with unlock phone button available again
Put my code, says it's entered successfully
Option to unlock stays there, 9 attempt left
Put my z30 sim from Bell in phone works
Tried my wife's Z10 sim phone works
Put my sim in her locked Z10 and her phone works
Is my phone unlocked ? Is this A factory unlock?
Or can you just use any Bell sim on any Bell phone?

You can use any Bell sim in any Bell, and most Virgin phones. I don't know why you have the button to unlock your phone. Mine disappeared when I unlocked it.

Lol if I would have known that I would have saved 90 dollars

There is no other carriers any where near here to test the sim.

Does anyone know if this is how factory unlocked phones from BlackBerry come?

Your phone is more than likely locked again. I sent my z10 for repair and tried the code again and it wouldn't work. When I emailed the unlocking site, they said if the motherboard or something is replaced the pin and IMEI all stay the same but the code will no longer work. Which makes absolutely no sense to me. But rather then argue with them I sold my z10 and got another one.
