Hi, I was wondering if they are bringing Twitter for BB10 update where you get updates without having to have the app open in an active frame. It says on 10.2.1.1925 about all these notifications alerts does this mean it auto updates? I also believe it's called the app been headless but don't know. Thanks in advance CrackBerry faithful.

I don't know about you guys, but I receive notifications from Twitter perfectly fine.
I use the 10.2.2.1 update that was pulled from BlackBerry World weeks ago. I receive notifications even before my iPhone does.

I got my notifications just fine. Yes, my DM's are not showing in the hub but I don't know why. But other than DM, I get the mentions notifications easily. Using old twitter 10.2.1.2 on 10.2.0.424. Nothings odd....

From the beginning it hasn't been necessary to have Twitter open in an active frame in order to receive notifications. I found in the past that notifications were laggy but no longer. Including DMs. I'm on 10.2.0.429 and twitter 10.2.1.2

You don't get notifications for new tweets, only replies and direct messages.

I get twitter notifications, my issue is deleting them. I delete them from the hub then within 10 minutes or so everything comes back even with the notifications turned off. Totally annoying.

I get zero Twitter notifications...no direct messages, no mentions...reply's nothing in my Hub at all. I am set up to receive notifications from certain people I follow...and I do get them on my iPhone and iPad. But not on the Q10 running 10.2

Are your notifications for Twitter set to Essential. I remembered a while back I wouldn't get notifications for anything set under the Essential alert.
Once I changed the Essential tone I would get notifications.

They are set for Essential. I just changed it, but wouldn't notification still show up in my Hub regardless of the tone?

I would imagine so, but I have only a few things set to show in Hub. Twitter not being one of them.
Since changing to a tone diff' than Ess' did it work for you.

10.2.0.429 is what I'm on if it matters.

I'm confused, if someone you follow tweets something do you get a notification? I certainly do not, I have to open up app and check twitter. Before someone says. Why do you want a notification when someone tweets something, I only follow 3 people and they are services in which I would like to receive notifications I'd they do send something out

I've had no problems with Twitter!! All my notifications go straight to the hub and I can instantly reply. Love it

No. It isn't set up that way and can't be. Same on other platforms I think.

If you followed lots of people, you could create a list in Twitter of your favourites and check that list.
