    I have 2 unlocked blackberry phones originally manufactured for T-Mobile. One is a Pearl 8100, and the other is a 9780. Once I got a mobile share plan for my AT&T service, the 9780 is able to use data..but the 8100 can only load stuff in the browser...but none of the other apps are able to use data, like bolt browser, or google talk. Does anyone know how I can get these working?

    Have you considered calling AT&T Support for this? The T-Mo 8100 really should work on AT&T - mine did, back in the day.

    Sounds like the BlackBerry data plan is not provisioned on the 8100 service. Have you tried the SIM from the other BlackBerry in the 8100 to see if it worked?

As soon as I got this plan, the data on the 9780 started working immediately, albeit in EDGE of course since it doesn't have the 3G radios for AT&T.

    So I am really confused as to why this isn't working on the 8100...and also why if i go into the browser, i can load up web pages, but none of the apps like google talk and bolt browser can seem to access the internet.

    Thats fine, let us know what att says after you call them for support. Until you can say if the plan is provisioned for the device correctly I would not even offer any suggestions. At least none that would have any benefit.

    Such as comparing routing tables to see if all books were delivered.
