Was browsing the new arrivals section and stumbled upon this app. It let's you add the black text box with text similar to the BlackBerry 10 ads. Works as stated and I thought I should share it before it gets lost in the heaps of map apps that are being approved

i am very new to "image"-coding. trying to improve the speed in the next versions... + there is a new version submitted, which hopefully fix the orientation problem on loading...

Downloaded the app.

Some suggestions. Could you let the users drag the text on where ever part of the picture? And a better app icon would be better.

AGREE. PL ALLOW TO RELOCATE AND RESIZE THE TEXT BOX AS WELL AS THE SIZE OF THE TEXT. FUTURE WOULD BE IN FORMATTING IF THE TEXT LIKE CHANGES COLOUR, FONT, ETC. PROBABLY EVEN SPECIAL EFFECTS TO THE TEXT. ALSO, COULD ALLOW DRAW, COLOR, ETC WITHIN OR OUTSIDE THE TEXT.

Yeah, I think I will allow to drag the box. Already started with "colormodes". Have to change a bit of code to make things possible :-) thanks for your suggestions!

- added colormodes
- added possibility to drag around the textbox on y axis

i want to add some symbols now.. have the "spark", a heart(will change that probably) and the bb logo(dont know if they accept that) at the moment.
any wishes? want to limit it to 5 symbols

big update submitted to bbworld! hope they accept it with the bb logos (..."branding issues"...). if not, i have to change the logos and resubmit.

EDIT: Approved! Available in BB World now!

- 5x colormodes (change textblock color/font color)
- 5x icons to drop (free draggable, you can add all 5 if you want)
- drag the textblock on y axis
- automatic image rotation based on image exif-data
- change image on the fly
- performance improvements
- bugfix on pinch-zoom (fixed mirroring controls)

technically no problem, but i have to think where i can place more options. i have some space on the Z's but look at the Q screenshots
