I just noticed that the top speakers are not working on the Z30.

So, I'm not sure if it is the leak I'm running or a device failure.

Which made me notice a deficiency in the device: no tool or configuration allows you to isolate the speakers.

For a example, a slider to activate the bottom speaker or top speakers only.

Chime in please.

If you are running the 1925 leak on your Verizon z30, can you advise if your speakers are working properly.

You can go to BlackBerry World and search for BlackBerry Virtual Expert app. It will check all the hardware on the phone and from there you can know if the device is damaged.

I thought that just tested everything and then you have to verify if it works or not as it goes through the testing process. I believe poster is trying to eliminate the possibility that it is the leak causing his upper speaker not to work.

I just installed the 1925 leak yesterday on my Verizon Z30 and everything works perfectly, speakers and all.

Not sure if this is a similar problem.

Thanks for the info on the Berry Testing App. The App does not appear to test the top speaker individually.

I might need to either restore from backup or restore to factory settings before I decide to send it in to Verizon for repair or exchange.

Of course, I'm not looking forward to it because I'll need to customize my pages again and restore those android Apps. A painful ordeal. Ugh!
