I miss my Loud and Medium notification profiles on BB7. I have no idea why BlackBerry removed them on BB10 without replacing it with a custom profile option.

I have the Watcher app installed and can finally have my holster vibrate setting back but since there is now only 1 "sound" profile (Normal) that profile is set to when the phone is out of holster and I have to use Vibrate Only when in holster. There is no way to have vibrate then sound when using this profile. All other profiles either limit sound of vibe (Silent, Phone Calls Only, All Alerts Off)

I sure hope these things are in the works or at least give us back holster settings!

i believe the holster settings are there, i was looking at them the other day. i'm with you though, i do miss being able to just have my notifications at a lower volume in just one profile. I'd have it on Loud when i go outside and Medium when i go back inside. The 9810 had a loud speaker lol

There are many granular options for notifications that the old BBOS had that is not yet back in BB10.

That said, a few have slowly made their return.

Custom saved profiles and individual volume control of notification sounds are the ones I'm still waiting on.

I think a year's wait is pretty patient...then I see them add features like Glympse that I will never use and leave out inline picture sending and notifications in BBM groups...all I can do is SMH

I miss the custom profiles that my 9900 had . I had the option of letting only a few people through in case of an emergency. I had to buy Bebuzz to help with this, but it only lets texts through and not calls.

The ability to switch to vibrate when the phone is in the holster is the #1 feature of BBOS that I sorely miss in BB10. Frankly, when in a crowded or noisy area, I simply do not hear the "bling" noise of the phone. But I would notice the vibrate. Of course when the phone is sitting on a desk, I very much want the opposite behavior.

I already have that working with Watcher. What I want is after vibrating it would ring too!

I miss having different profile options like in legacy devices. Having only the option to toggle between audible/vibrate/silent is not a good look IMO.
