OK, I have decided and got myself a Q10 yesterday. Yeahhhh...
However, I saw several apps such as Waze is missing out on Q10. Some of e apps are designed to take advantage of the Z's big screen.
So question,

Is THERE any apps that are designed for Q10 then?

There are no apps which are directly designed for the QWERTY phones, however some apps were given more thought for the 1:1 ratio it seems when they've been designed. I don't know what kind of applications you are looking for or what you actually need. Here's some stuff I'm using, all are designed decently for the Q10:
BeMaps 10 (Google Maps client)
RSS Savvy (RSS Reader with dark theme)
ReadItNow! (Pocket client)
Bee (Tumblr client)
Picture Elements (500px client)
Blaq (Twitter client)
Effetica (photo editing)
CrackBerry 10 (obviously!)
Evolution Browser (alternative browser featuring night mode)
Money Plus (expense tracker)
Fast Tube (YouTube client, although video capability is still limited on Q10)

In addition I'll throw in some games I find decent on the Q10s screen:
Angry Birds (all variants)
Great Big War Game
Devils Attorney
Cut the Rope (all variants)
Bad Piggies
Bejeweled 2
Brick Breaker Bold (beta!)


In the end most applications are making decent use of the Q10 screen, it is mostly games or some multimedia stuff which can be somewhat disappointing. Especially games where you have to keep your thumb(s) constantly on the screen can be quite inconvenient.

Just a note, I paid for Evolution browser, it is missing something I find very important since I go from page to page a lot. When you want to type a new address, in the stock browser, touching the url bar will auto highlight the existing url so you can simply start typing the new one. Not in Evolution, you have to manually select everything or manually delete the entire address.

Then after that, in the stock browser since there is no dedicated button for the dot, so you can type www amazon com and it'll automatically suggest an address replacing the spaces with dots. In evolution browser, no such thing, you HAVE to press alt-m for every dot.

To me, those omissions have kept me using the stock browser, so much faster with the features it has. I've mentioned this in comments the developer was replying to and in the review since a very long time ago and he still hasn't fixed it so I'm guessing it's not a priority for him.

So if this is also important to you, like if you go to a lot of different websites, then consider this a heads-up. If not, then maybe you might find some good features in it. Up to you.
