Just noticed it, yes I have it too.

Kind of wished it would of allowed applications to communicate back to Google License Server to allow them to run. Is interesting though.

This is purely speculation, but this could be what is needed to update the BB10 Android runtime without an OS update, that would be a big move for BB10.

As for the "better Android than Android" mantra, I highly doubt that will ever happen, unless you're comparing mid-high end BB10 devices to very old or very cheap Android devices, but it's a big boost to BB10 regardless.

Fair enough... I can't commit myself to the timeline, but I can say that I do, in fact, remember getting it quite a while ago. Maybe it's a regional thing?
