Have you guys read this article? Wired is having their CES reporters use different phones at CES, one of them is a z30.

I can only hope the guy using it is doing so because he wants to and will give it a fair review.

KEVIN, go find this "Tim Moynihan" and make sure to show him all the awesomeness of the Z30 and BB10!

I want his last blog to say "I wasn't sure about the BlackBerry Z30 but then I bumped into Crackberry Kevin and he showed me all the great features of this phone, now I can't put it down!"

It's going to be tough for the Z30 to get any recognition unless Tim is very well versed with BB10. Hope he does well.

He's clearly a very bright guy so no doubt he'll do his best with the tools at hand.
I certainly hope he's familiar with the Z30 when the time comes to put it to use.

He needs BlackBerry Express loaded to hammer out quick presentations easy on the fly. Story Maker to grab touching photos and throw a tear jerker song on top. If he has never used the z30, and the girl gets to use her Iphone that she knows then the contest us already skewed. Give me that challenge and I will bury her cheap phone. Z30 is the best!

The Nokia lumia 1020 will win anyway. With a 41 megapixel camera pretty much a replacement for a dslr as well as office built in there is no chance anyone beats that.

Battery life and signal will be the biggest issues. Vegas is murder for battery life because your phone is always hunting for a signal. In the middle of CES it will probably be even worse.

Interesting they chose BlackBerry over Samsung. The 1020 has to be the ugliest phone I've ever seen!

Whilst I hear your point. I think a phone should be able to sell itself. If it needs CB Kevin to explain it to this guy we have a problem for the general public to get any traction.

He's going to be doing a lot of typing and taking photos so some tips to help out is what I was getting at.

    Things like:
-Trust in the auto correct option given on the space bar (no need to be correcting typos while typing a word).
-Swiping down on the keyboard gives you alternate characters.
    -Long press for caps
-One, two, or three finger swipes to the left on the keyboard to delete words and sentences.
-Tap to bring up the selector and how to drag and move it or tap the circle to move it one character at a time.
-And of course "flicking" up words.

A lot of those tips aren't self-explanatory but are godsends once you know them.

Kevin is likely too busy but Simon is there and has probably spent more time on the Z30 than Kevin has. It would be a good job for Simon to track down Tim and give him a quick tutorial.

Well it may take a good photo, but it won't show well. I have dropped my z30 several times now, on tiles floors. Yet for it to break. BlackBerry tough!
