You can sideload it, but I recommend that you sideload iGrann - Instagram Client for BlackBerry 10 (a native IG app, but still a beta, though a good one!)

Are you running a leak? If not then you should be running the 1925 leak. It allows android apps to run a lot better.the old way.it involved sideloading two versions of instagram just to be able to use it. If using a leak is out of the question then id explore alternatives.

Instagram is 99% functional except for hub notification, if you are running Z10STL100-3/10.2.1.1925. Study how to load that leak then sideload Snap. Snap will allow to to download from the Google playstore and install Instagram directly to your phone.

I don't get it. Why would you sideload a Android port if you can rock a native IG client? It's fully functional.
