OK, here's the deal: Skype is making all my Q10's phone calls. Even when I go directly from the contact app Skype opens to make the call. Same thing from search, same thing when using voice. Hate to dump the app because I do use it, but I can't even make a call without Skype taking over.

Need help with this.

• Install Ghost commander from BlackBerry World
• Open Ghost Commander, on the right hand side when it loads look for Skype and tap it.
• Go to 'Manage', launch it.
• When that loads, scroll down to where it says 'Launch By Default', next to it tap on 'Clear Defaults'

The solution is hold out until BBM for android and iOS get voice and video.

Dumped Skype! Didn't feel like I should have to use a third party app to control basic phone functions on my Q10. Thanks for GC tip though.

Sounds to me as though you have other apps installed, possibly Android ones, the set it as default. I have Skype installed as well and it has never done that on any of my BB10 devices however, that specific function IS a function of Android apps but whatever, you solved it your own way.

Nope, no droid apps installed on my Q10. I have to be able to make calls w/o Skype bogarting the phone. Let's be real, the Skype app should have the option to remove it as the defult dialer.

It doesn't... so it's off my phone.

i tried this app also,,,,, and it got kicked to the ditch until they fix it.
