    Hey all,

Thanks in advance for anyone's help. I can pick up my home wifi signal in bed on my blackberry but not on my iPad ... I was wondering whether it was possible to extend the wifi using my Q10 using something akin to the mobile hotspot feature and allowing me to connect to my wifi network through the phone.

Of course I could use the mobile Hotspot feature but I'm sure this is just enabling me to use the mobile network as opposed to the wifi connection.

Is there a way to do this?

To use mobile hotspot, don't you have to pay extra? From you carrier? But yeah it could be done

No, it can't, he's asking if he can turn his phone into a Wifi repeater; which if I'm not mistaken is not supported by the hardware.

The only thing you could do is extended the router with a repeater. And that depends on your router.

You could try turning data off and see what happens.

Doh, I think you need data for the hotspot?

    Edit: Yep you do.

    Thanks for your comments.

To clarify I do want to use it as a wifi repeater but sounds like it can't be done.
