With LTE and the Mobile Hotspot on BB10 devices, options for companion devices are much wider and viable.

For those of you that use two devices or a tablet with your BB10 device, I'm curious what you are using with your BB10 and how?

My PB is an LTE so it doesn't need my Zed but my HP Laptop does.
I often boot up my hotspot so I can.....ahem, bypass my companies Open DNS and view pages I'm er um not supposed......Shhhh there's a VP roaming these forums and he's grumpy.

I will from time to time use my hotspot for my company provided iPad but my PB does what I need it to so the it is tends to sit around.

I'm using 2 Playbooks and a Nexus 7 with my Z30! I'm hoping BB comes out with a new Playbook as I will buy one in a second!

Nexus 7 and Z10. Since the N7 uses own connectivity, no need for hotspot. My laptop is a HP and I use the Z10 for the laptop from time to time when out of WiFi coverage.

I have a Q10 and use an iPhone 5 (with no cell service) and an iPad Air. The Hotspot gives them both LTE speed.

I don't like to use space on my Q for music or onboard maps.

With the Q's Hotspot and the iPhone's Rhapsody subscription, you have unlimited music on the go...regardless of how much space you have on your iPhone. It's a great set up.

LTE and the Mobile Hotspot are a couple of things that really make BB10 shine for me.

I personally use a nexus 7 4.4 with my Z10 makes for a pretty killer combo, also my trusty Toshiba satellite, paving slab with Ubuntu and windows.. keeps me happy!

I bridge my PlayBook to my Z30 when it's not in my home wifi coverage, sometimes even at home. I have used the hotspot feature just to take advantage of it, but I find its just easier to bridge the devices. Then I can receive and respond to texts and BBM on one device instead of going back and forth between two. An underrated feature, imo. I do have a wifi Android tablet that must use the hotspot, but I usually just use my PlayBook for the bridge feature.

Z10 bridged to my Playbook to answer emails and text. The Z10 stays in range of our home phone base unit, with multiple handsets throughout the house and garage so I can answer it anywhere.
And, of course, the Z10 is Bluetooth connected in my car.
