Compare it to any iPhone or any Samsung galaxy. The difference is obvious and clear. White just looks bad on the Z10

And I like the ability to tweak the white balance in 10.2. It's light choosing lighting in your place of living, some prefer softer light, and some prefer bright daylight.

It's a nice customization feature.

White does have a yellowish tint on the Z10, I believe it's down to the screen tech used though I may be wrong.

I'd also like a black hub, for all the BB10 phones as it's much classier and easy to read (for me).

It is what it is and the "best white" you can get isn't as white as on an iPhone. More blue or more yellow, but just not as nice. Maybe it can be improved.
You aren't the only one to complain. Reviewers have cited this too. No excuses BB. No excuses CB'ers either. Just an honest comparison.

Weird... mine looks pretty white to me. I think I left my white balance setting untouched as well. Perhaps it's your specific model variant (STL100-1?)

I believe it was indeed a certain batch of units with this problem. I've done side by side comparisons with the iPhone, iPad, Note 2 and Note 3 and my Z10 looked pretty good. They may have resolved the issue but again it's nearly impossible to tell which batches were affected.

Which is it? Two post above this one (quoted below) you stated the z10 does have a yellowish tint? Confused

At 3/4 or more brightness and white balance in the middle of the slider, the color is the same as my iPhone at 50% brightness. At the same 50% brightness, the Z10 does have a yellowish tint. I try to keep the brightness lower for battery conservation.

That wouldn't tell you anything. A screen shot creates a png file that represents white independently from how the physical screen displays it.
