Change sync intervals and dim your display. I'm also experiencing problems with battery life. If you want exceptional battery life I've had a lot of success using 10.2.0.1809. I'm on Verizon in the states.

I'm charging 3 times a day now since I'm using it as business phone.. (thinking I'm gonna get new device)

Really strange. People with much lower battery life, what are your set ups? What apps are you running? How large of a contact list are you using?

Just trying to see what the correlation is. I'm having much better batter life with .1925 than with any of the 3 earlier OSs I've used. Hands down.

    I'm on Net 10 / ATT in the USA, running 4g/LTE. STL100-3.

    Display at 30% brightness
    Sync intervals at 1hr
Moderate to low Web usage, some YouTube, occasional game. I dropped 25% in 20 minutes in standby mode, and 6% in 3 minutes in standby mode.

STL100- which? 1/2/3/4? Are you on LTE? Are you accessing the web via wi-fi or by phone?

Honestly, I'm running a lot hotter than that on mine, 30 minute sync time, 60% screen brightness, 90 sec standby - but my drop off has been way less (I posted my first 48 hours of battery life yesterday or day before- I had forgotten to plug in overnight, and was amazed at how much battery life I had left...)
So, yeah, odd. Hope we can figure out what is dragging it down for you.

    Screen-50%
    Sync-2 hours
Network- Vzw 4G/LTE. ( PERFECT COVERAGE) No searching.
Roughly 85 contacts, some gaming, text messaging and a few calls. In a 24 hour period I charge my phone 3 times at least. I am on wifi most of the day.

Bought this puppy off contract for 600 bucks in June my upgrade is January 18 I might have to trade it in for a z30!

Battery issue comes and goes differently with each os, best solution is buying a blackberry z10 charging bundle

Battery life is relative...for the most part, I kind of agree that .1925 is improved. Never before could I go 12 hours without dropping 50%, but I had only dropped 25% yesterday. Of course it was a day of light use. Location (GPS) has always been a big drag and I leave that off till needed. This was the biggest tip I received when I got my Z10.

Same for me. Lost 8 percent in 15 minutes without even using the phone. Took it off the charger and checked the time. I turned off link I'm gonna figure out the sync stuff.

Could you provide more information? How long have you been running it? What Z10 device are you on? Battery drain is not unusual for a few days after installing any new software.

It amazes me that BlackBerry ever produced a phone with such battery life. Yes it has improved with os updates. Yes the battery can be recharged very quickly. But let's face it. All talking of os, and phones aside, had BlackBerry put a 3000 ma battery in the z10, sales would have skyrocketed. It's that simple. Even if the phone were made bigger just for the battery. If you use the z10 intensively, battery drain is huge, no matter what os version you have. Like watching a cigarette burn..

Just today, I loaded the camera bar with face focus and my battery life for Z10STL100-2/10.2.1.1925 became normal again. It's worth trying.

Everybody knows that. We just all have to accept the fact that it is all said and done. Get a Z30. Problem solved.

Well before. I got 6 hours without using the phone. I'm not sure what really happened but I reload the OS. Wiped the device. Installed the face focus. And I believe I'm back to normal battery life. I hope.
