Not necessarily. If an app does have the symbol you can be sure that it isn't a port.

If an app doesn't have it, though, that doesn't mean it's a port, just that it hasn't been through the BFBB testing.

Someone with more dev knowledge than me may be able to tell us more though.

Late response here, but thankyou for your answer. On a somewhat related note, when searching through the desktop version of Blackberry World, I have been unable to locate a filter for sifting BB10 apps from legacy OS apps. I assume there is none. This makes for a long and tedious task of trying to locate BB10 apps. Any suggestions? Keywords have limited usefulness.

All the apps given in BBW, works on a BB10 device. (my knowledge)
You don't have to go searching for it!

For searching on the browser, log in to your BBID and ensure the active device is a BB10 device and app results should be ones compatible with said device.
