Simple, how many of you want BBM on your Playbook?

I am talking about a native/HTML5 app, without the need of another device and BB Bridge.

Are you going to code that too? o.0

I have mixed feelings about this right now. BBM can only be used on one device at a time right now if you use the same BBID. If we had it more like Skype, gTalk and iMessage, whereall devices can use the same ID and they all get the messages, I'd love to have it on the PlayBook.

As it is, I can do without and rely on Bridge. I am not sure I wanna deal with the issues I've seen people reporting...

    But seriously. Are you?

It would be nice, but it's not going to happen. The PlayBook is a dead platform. BBM on my Z30 is the next best thing.

But I do sometimes use BBM on my PB via Bridge.

I would love to have BBM on the PB.....like the responses before, who will do it, and the price. To me, it would make it very almost complete. :-)

to the point of the thread, i don't know anyone else w/ a bb, let alone a pb, so a native bbm wouldn't do me any good personally, but i think it should be native if they're going to give it away to apples & droids...

I want BBM on my Playbook..., make it a little bit more useful than just playing games, reading emails and watching movies.

I guess it depends on how many are prior blackberry users, I could never get on with them so stuck to nokia. I'd certainly have a good look at bbm but would be just as likely to use whatsapp or similar.

it does seem a bit barmy that rim haven't set it up as automatic update as it could only lead to more phone sales in the long run IMO as its obvious on the uptake with other platforms that it is a popular app.

Not really. I don't use PB enough anymore. The bridge is good enough. I'd rather they focus their resources on new devices or features.

I don't need it and would not pay for it. Likely wouldn't even download it for free. Agree with Diegonie the one to one device to pin mapping is a problem.

Don't use it myself. I do think it should have been part of the PlayBook from the beginning however. Might download it if it was free. I kinda feel that it should be on all BlackBerry devices. Just seems right somehow.....

For people saying yes to this do u have BB phones already?
Why would I want BBM on my PB when I can just use my phone (which is easier for typing anyway)?

My PB is literally collecting dust after i upgraded from bold to z10. If PB would have free BBM without bridge... perhaps i might find it useful oneway or another.
