This is a souped up freemium version of Activision's Decathlon Olympic Games. The graphics are cute, and for those who remember, this is like ten mini-games in one.

The events cover running, throwing and jumping activities, like the 400m, shot put and pole vault.

You can participate in full decathlons, or train in individual events. Either provides you with money and experience. Money can be used to purchase training points, equipment that boosts stats, and various forms of energy.

Each event will drain your energy by one, and you have ten bars. Energy regeneration is slow, but about on par with most freemium games.

You have 4 stats, and certain events will call on the use of more than just one. Speed makes you run faster, stamina allows you to run faster for longer, throwing lets you throw further, and jumping lets you jump higher.

There is also a challenge mode, which requires Internet for the game to find you a suitable opponent.

Overall, a cute nostalgic game, with a little depth in training and progression.

Here in the UK it was branded as Daley Thompsons Decathlon. Probably responsible for the death of quite a few Sinclair Spectrum keyboards. How does it mimic the keyboard hammering of the original?

I was wondering myself Dt Decathlon was the reason I had to get a + keyboard instead of rubber keys. Please don't say you need to press the volume buttons up and down in quick succession to run faster. :banghead:

Fun game, only issue I had was the game got stuck after a challenge game.
