    Hello, I have a question about birthday reminders.

    Right now the calendar on my z10 pulls birthdays from Facebook and puts them on my calendar.

    When I look at my hub, it shows me tomorrow's birthdays. Is there a way to get the hub to show today's birthdays instead? Thanks

    Go to your Settings --> Accounts --> Facebook
    You should see a list of options at the bottom such as

    Birthday reminders in calendar-img_00001091_edit.png

    And from there, you can just change the birthday reminder options.

    I also have a question about the hub's calendar feature. Is it possible to make the hub show current events rather than upcoming events?

    In other words why isn't this built into the contact application.

    Hello. Would agree with person above, my z10 doesn't shows any birthdays at all!
    I'm not addicted to fb, even deleted that app.
    But calendar and hub doesn't shows nor google contact's, nor local contact birthdays
    How sad is that? I don't need any others apps, why it's not implemented by default?

    Not so happy user.

    The Contacts app SHOULD have a way to do birthday reminders.
    With a Google or Microsoft (Hotmail/Outlook) account, you can set up a birthday calendar and edit in a reminder with your BlackBerry.
    Or you can do birthdays with Remember, set them up as a task and assign a reminder.

    All these solutions require using a cloud service, but why can't we have birthday reminders derived from local Z10 contacts? Using the native contacts app?

    I agree. It was nice to be able to have birthday reminders from our contacts without using a third party, like in OS7 on my 9900.
