    So, do anybody know if Japanese input is ever coming to BB10? Been waiting for this for a while now. Most other non-romanised scripts seem to be supported without any issues, including Korean and Chinese.

    There are some Japanese IME apps available, but... have you tried BBOS 10.2.1? (it has native support for Japanese language, and it works fine for me)

    Funny that you mention that. I haven't noticed the lack of Jap support until now. I'm use handwriting Chinese once in a while.
    But keep in mind that they sell the Z in Japan so it might even in the official Japanese carrier OSes. And as above mentioned, sounds like 10.2.1 has it. I can't confirm that though.

    ?? (EDIT from PC: these question marks were supposed to be the map of Japan, which is actually displayed on my BB)

    Apparently, yes, there is one. The truth is that I hadn't notice until now.

    I noticed that there's a strange glyph there that doesn't look like a Japanese, then realized it's an icon of Japan's lands.

    Don't think it'll be supported by any other device, but it sure is neat to have
